A car accident in Mexico killed two actors and injured six other crew members of the Netflix series “The Chosen One,” officials said.
The Baja California Department of Culture confirmed the accident Friday and said a van carrying the crew members crashed and overturned after driving off the desert road near Mulege on the Baja California Sur Peninsula.
The department has not identified the victims of the wreck.

The crew was filming in nearby Santa Rosalia.

An unreleased Netflix description for “The Chosen One,” reads: “A 12-year-old boy learns that he is the returned Jesus Christ, destined to save humanity. Based on the comic book series by Mark Millar and Peter gross.”
