Actor Johnny Depp was spotted in England on Sunday, taking the stage with British musician Jeff Beck for a surprise appearance as the jury deliberated on his libel trial against ex-wife Amber Heard in the United States.
Videos posted to social videos show Depp, guitar in hand, rocking onstage at Beck’s concert, which took place in Sheffield, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Depp and Beck performed their 2020 “Isolation” collaboration, the videos appeared to show.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Depp and Beck also played a cover of “What’s Going On” by Marvin Gaye and “Little Wing” by Jimi Hendrix.
Depp’s impromptu appearance brought him back to his roots, because before starting his career as an actor, he aspired to become a musician. His musical career was short-lived but, as he testified at his defamation trial, he found more success in acting.

Disney executives were also repeatedly dragged into the discussions, as both Depp and Heard claimed to have lost on movie spots, in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ and ‘Aquaman 2’ due to the controversy of the case and the allegations of abuse respectively.
