The delegation also visited a number of prominent museums and tourism projects and discussed with those in charge of them ways to improve cultural cooperation between the Emirate of Sharjah and the Hungarian side.

During the meeting with the Hungarian minister, attended by His Excellency Saud Hamad Al Shamsi, UAE Ambassador in Budapest, Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi praised Hungary’s active presence in economic and tourism events held in the UAE. As part of their program in Hungary, the Government Relations Department delegation in Sharjah visited the “House of Hungarian Music” and met with Professor Pata Andreas, director of the museum, who presented an overview of the design aesthetics of the building that takes into account environmental sustainability standards and was inspired by the sound wave, where the director of the museum accompanied the delegation on a tour of the building that included the theater dedicated to the presentation of musical shows, classrooms, musical library , rooms for events and temporary exhibitions.

The delegation toured the museum, which shows the stages of development of Hungarian music in particular and European music in general, through an innovative exhibition that used the latest technological and interactive methods.

At the end of the meeting, Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi praised the aesthetic design of the museum building and the non-traditional way of displaying the content.

The delegation’s program also included a visit to the Hungarian Parliament Building, which is one of the most beautiful and largest parliamentary buildings in the world, where he heard a detailed presentation on the history of the building, its parts and contents. visited the Museum of Ethnography in the city park as part of the Legit Budapest project, and received insights into the design of the museum, which won the title of World’s Best Architectural Design in 2018 at the international real estate competition.

The Government Relations Department delegation in Sharjah concluded its official visit to Hungary with two separate tours, which included the “Budapest Museum of Fine Arts” and “National Conservation and Storage”, where they toured the halls of the Museum of Fine Arts. divided according to chronological history through the ages, and each of them contains a collection of collectibles dating back to a certain century. The department delegation was also informed about modern technologies in the “National Museum of Conservation and Storage “, which use lightning to restore and preserve historic works of art.
