The Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery star started Elizabeth Hurley Beach in 2005. According to the website, the line focuses on “sensual fit and jet set influences”.
“I decided to use beachwear not only because I’ve always been obsessed with vacation wear, but also because it’s an area where women, regardless of shape or size, can look great or be really wrong. I wanted to develop resort collections that would make women feel fantastic at any age,” explains Hurley on her website.
The actress told The Cut in October 2017: “People often ask me how you can look good as you get older, and for me it’s a few things. You have to take care of your skin, that’s important. Your health. You You can’t look good if you’re not healthy, and diet plays a big part. You shouldn’t smoke and have too much alcohol. We all get hit hard in life, but it’s important to stay positive and stay engaged and don’t be angry. Anger doesn’t seem to go hand in hand with well-being.”
Hurley also stays away from a few important things. She explained in a September 2021 interview with: Sunday Times“I haven’t eaten processed food in 100 years. I don’t eat sweets, I don’t drink much alcohol, I don’t smoke, but I deeply regret that I ever did. I have learned to eat lighter and not so late. I think one of the most transformative things I’ve done is make 50 percent of what I eat plant matter. If you have a slice of toast for breakfast, have an apple too. Go against everything with vegetables.”
