And who should be the godfather of Drake’s polygamy dreams? Uh, apparently Tristan Thompson.
Yep, Tristan Thompson of “sports” and “being a notorious serial cheater” shows up in Drake’s new video to offer advice to the boyfriend.
“Are you ready?” Tristan asks Drake before the ceremony. “He’s not feeling well, we scrap him, we’re going home.”
“I’m fine, bro. It’s a good time for me. I’m ready to settle down, I’m in love,” says Drake.
Cue Tristan says that he is happy for Drake and that “you only get married once”.
Of course, it’s worth noting that the Tristan paternity scandal has been going on this week in The Kardashians — after the show confirmed he ditched the 30th birthday party then-girlfriend Khloé Kardashian hosted and had sex with another woman (with whom he ended up fathering a child).
The show has also highlighted how Tristan spoke to Kris Jenner about wanting to marry Khloé before the paternity scandal broke, with Khloé herself saying of the relationship, “Marriage is the ultimate goal. But right now I still think there’s only work to do.” finish him and me both.

For what it’s worth, this isn’t the first time Drake and Tristan have been linked; they even apparently had a “guys’ night out” after his first split with Khloé in 2019.
