US President Joe Biden has insisted that an economic downturn is not inevitable, but has admitted that morale is low in the US.
Biden spoke in a rare interview with the Associated Press, discussing the causes of rising inflation in the US and the impacts of the pandemic.
“People are very, very depressed,” he said.
